Dear Illustrious Fraters: 

On behalf of the Ill. Deputy of the Orient, SGIG Garnett Hall, Sr.33°, and the Officers and Members of the Samuel T. Daniels Sr. Council of Deliberation for the State and Orient of Maryland, I would like to extend best wishes to you and your family and I pray that this communication finds you and your loved ones in the best of spirits and good health. 

The purpose of this communication is to inform you that In accordance with the Constitution and General Regulations, of the United Supreme Council, you are hereby notified that the Samuel T. Daniels, Sr. Council of Deliberation of the United Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for the 33rd Degree of Freemasonry for the Southern Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliated will convene April 17-19, 2026 for its Annual Session at the Crowne Plaza – Annapolis, located at 173 Jennifer Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401. Phone 410-266-3131. Hotel reservations can be made by calling the Hotel Reservations at 800-227-6963. Reservations can also be made online. The deadline for hotel reservations is March 20, 2026. 

Hotel Rooms can be reserved until March 20, 2026, for a lodging cost of $179.00 plus tax per night. Tax is currently 13%. Group Name: Samuel T Daniels COD | Group Code: Orient of MD PHA Annual Session. Reservations must be guaranteed with first-night prepayment or a credit card guarantee. (Price includes breakfast) 

REGISTRATION FEE OF $175.00 IS MANDATORY FOR ALL ACTIVE, ACTIVE EMERITUS, PAST ACIVE AND HONORARY MEMBERS OF THE UNITED SUPREME COUNCIL, THE FIRST THREE OFFICERS OF THE CONSISTORIES, COUNCILS OF KADOSH, CHAPTERS OF ROSE CROIX AND THE FIRST FOUR OFFICERS OF THE LODGES OF PERFECTION WHETHER IN ATTENDANCE OR NOT!!! (ON SITE REGISTRATION FEE IS $200.00). Advance registration ends February 29, 2026. The registration includes a lunch ticket for April 18, 2026, as well as a banquet ticket for April 18, 2026.

Applications for Honorary Membership to the United Supreme Council can be obtained online at www.mdphacod.org and are due to the Illustrious Deputy of the Orient by February 29, 2026. 

INFORMATION FOR ANY FRATER RECOMMENDING A SUPBLIME PRINCE AS A CANDIDATE FOR GRAND INSPECTORS GENERAL 

The 140th Annual Session of the United Supreme Council will convene October 09-13, 2026, in Birmingham, AL. 

You will note each candidate should have provided the necessary information for a Robe (Suit Size, Height, Name and Orient) and Wide Band Ring Size. You should also make sure they are aware of the following: 

1. All candidates are required to be present at 4:00PM on Friday, October 09, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama. 

2. Each candidate should make or have travel plans for departure after 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. 

3. Everyone should be aware that the Initial Class Organizational Meeting, Administrative Processing and Medical Screening will begin at 5:00 PM at a Location to be determined in the hotel, check the event listings. 

4. Those candidates taking prescriptions medication are requested to bring ALL MEDICATIONS with them to the Session and in sufficient quantities to maintain their dosage. Your medications or list of medications must be brought to the screening. 

5. Remind each candidate not to bring with them either their Sublime Prince Crown or Case. 

6. Please be reminded of the required amount of $1600.00 must accompany each Application, this pays for: 1- Registration, 2-Contribution to United Supreme Council Charitable Foundation (Class Gift) & 3-Fees for the Ring, Patent, Crown and Crown Case, Robe & Thirty-Third Jewel. A separate check of $250.00 must be made to the Samuel T. Daniels. Sr. Council of Deliberation. The total fee in the Orient of Maryland excluding travel and hotel costs is $1850.00. 

7. All candidates must submit a 5x7 Color photograph in Regular Masonic Attire (dark suit, white shirt, etc.) without any Regalia. (A digital photo should be emailed) 

8. Each candidate should have their blood pressure checked two weeks prior to attending the Annual Session.
